The Home Business Academy exists because after 10 years of building 'residual income' in various different types of Companies, we (Mike & Paul, the founders) noticed a strange pattern recurring.

Again and again and again, we'd build up successful businesses and be enjoying the fruits of our labors, when something outside of our control would come in to hurt that income and/or the people we were serving. 

Companies would quit on us, change the compensation plan, or begin to act and treat people in ways that were out of alignment with our values.   

In June of 2016, we'd decided we'd had enough and it was either time to leave the home business profession altogether OR try to build something that could be the change we wished to see in the home business world.  

We decided to do the crazy thing and start The Home Business Academy, so we and the people we wanted to serve could have something to believe in and count on, long term.  

We exist to Inspire and Empower Freedom Through Principle Centered Leadership™ by being the change we wish to see in the Home Business World

• We believe in never changing the compensation plan.  When a rep or affiliate signs on to promote a company, they do it in good faith, under the expectation that they will be compensated based on the terms at the start of the agreement.  This agreement should be honored and never changed at the whim of a company who wants to move carrots and sticks around or re-allocate the profits to benefit various 'top level' individuals within the organization.  
  

• We believe in always putting customers and affiliates first (People over profits)  We decided at the very beginning that if ever we faced a decision that would put more money in the companies pockets versus helping our customers or affiliates - we would always choose the people.  The reason for this is simple.  It's how we would have wanted to have been treated in all those other companies we've been a part of over the years and it doesn't feel good when the opposite happens.  

• We believe in treating everyone in our community the way we wish to be treated ourselves. 

Specifically this means... 

- Always taking the time to help those who need help (as long as they're willing to work and learn for their better futures).  John Maxwell calls this 'Walking slowly through the halls.' Speed is worthless if you're not helping the people you're supposed to help along the way. 

- Always showing kindness, respect and patience 

- Striving to help everyone feel valued and never 'less than'.  This means we encourage and appreciate contribution from all community members, recognize and celebrate success in all of its various forms, and always respect each persons individual agency by supporting them in their goals vs, trying to impose our wills upon them. 

• We believe in always striving to do the right thing in every decision we make.

• We believe in staying in business long term.

• We believe in giving back and make the world a better place as we succeed (see our cause at the bottom of this page)  

• We believe we should strive to be, and encourage all community members to be, lights in the world by allowing our values to play out in our lives outside of business.

• We believe in living and doing business by our 'Freedom Crusaders Manifesto' 
  

We create and offer tools, training and coaching within our product lineup and affiliate model that inspire and empower people to move toward freedom with quality and simplicity in mind. 

• Our community has enhanced the lives of thousands of customers with our products

• We've helped hundreds of people earn 'side hustle' income through our affiliate program and

• We, as a unified community, have helped to provide just under 200,000 meals to under privileged kids throughout the world via our community donations to Feed My Starving Children. (you can learn more about them via the video at the bottom of this page)

Mike Hobbs is a former military vet turned expert internet marketer and home business entrepreneur.

He and his wife Christy live in sunny Southern Utah with their 6 amazing kids.
